The beautiful Marissa has been hired as the Director of Promotions! Marissa, or Mia as she prefers to be called, will now be in charge of all of our special events and activities.
On another note, it has been slightly helter skelter here with the holiday festivities and all. But having everyone together means I was able to track down the lovely I.T. ladies for their image profiles and the first artwork completed depicts the gorgeous Mika. I also managed to capture sketches of Kasia & Dee, but the final images will have to wait until after the New Year. Here's to everyone having a safe and blessed Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, and here's hoping Dee gets her holiday wish of a Kaiju Christmas movie marathon, LOL!

Some argue that RSS is no longer relevant, but a number of people still like to receive their news or site updates that way. So we're taking Nora's advice and adding an RSS feed to our News page here (as you'll notice the orange & white icon at the top of this page above the posts) and a separate one to our behind-the-scenes Backstage page.
A few web browsers have RSS readers already built-in, while others require you to install a corresponding browser extension for RSS in order to subscribe to our feed (…if you do go the add-on route, make sure any extension you install is free from malware & has been properly vetted!). Or you can just add the MWN feed to one of your favorite news aggregators. Either way, now you can instantly be in the know when there's something new here!

When I first began this site, I had stated I would not only introduce the team here at MWN, but also provide a behind-the-scenes look at the everyday workings here. So accordingly, there is now a new BACKSTAGE link in the navigation bar that will showcase exactly that. And the discussion Larissa & I had last season is one of the latest posts there. Hope you enjoy it!

No, I haven't lost interest in updating this site. It's just that we've been doing some restructuring and we've even hired a part-time web designer to help share the load of updating these pages. You can read her profile here in the CREATIVE division, although I've yet to post her images.
After taking some time to review the page design and internal structure, we realized there still are dozens of changes that need to be made in terms of improving the user interface and such. One minor change we'd like to introduce upfront is the redesign of the brand notice that previously debuted in Erica's profile. From now on, artwork and photos depicting a specific fashion brand will have this "BRAND" notice alongside it: 
Simply hover over the element with your mouse & a block of text will appear over the image that includes the name of the fashion designer in all caps and the name of the specific apparel item just beneath it.
Soon you'll be able to find those notices peppered throughout the site, even though updating all the relevant images may take some time. But that's why we hired the extra help!
