A.I. SCRAPING IS PROHIBITED
March 27, 2026
It's obvious I haven't had a chance to post new work here in quite a while; however, that doesn't mean I've abandoned this site or that we fail to keep an eye on potentially malicious incoming traffic here. With respect to the latter, in the past month OpenAI's infamous "GPTBot" robot (apparently from a Microsoft-associated IP address) visited ModelsWearingNylons' webpages and by the amount of bandwidth it incurred, it was clearly not simply looking for references to satisfy a ChatGPT information query. And yes, scraping any of the material on this website is a direct violation of the Terms of Use.
In case artificial intelligence companies have forgotten this fact or haven't read the TOU, here's a relevant snippet: "Scraping of any of the text, images, video, or audio found in this site for the use of training artificial intelligence systems or databases is strictly prohibited and does not fall under "fair use" applications. Whether a company is using traditional methods or any other appropriation methods currently known or hereafter devised, whoever employs such tactics to use Omar Marcos' work to inform, train, or otherwise assist or build AI systems or software becomes liable to legal action and enforced payment of restitution in the form of lifetime royalties & other financial penalties…"
And for those wondering, ModelsWearingNylons has for years included a "Disallow" directive in our robots.txt file against both GPTbot and ChatGPT-User. Yet it's not surprising at all that OpenAI would renege on its promise to abstain from scraping content from sites even with such directives in place. I'm not exactly sure whether OpenAI organizes the material it has unethically sourced from creatives' websites by content or by date in time. However, if they're so inclined to delete & remove everything they've misappropriated (…which I would highly recommend), the infraction occurred on March 10, 2026 at 4:40 pm (from a bot apparently originating out of Georgia in the U.S.).
WOODLAND SPRITES ART
May 29, 2025

As you know, we've taken on a few woodland sprites as models here at MWN, and on many occasions, their diminutive size comes in very handy. One of those instances just happens to be the Rochester Contemporary Art Center's 6x6 art event coming up this week where all the pieces have to be 6 inches square in dimension. And who better to pose for such small artwork than our talented fairies & woodland sprites? So if you're interested in purchasing these highly stylized works in order to support the Arts, you can find more info at our illustrator's personal website: Mini Modeling Sessions.
And of course, our beloved sprites are depicted as wingless in the aforementioned works in order to fit within the 6 x 6 size requirements. But hopefully we can present more complete images of their beautiful looks here at some point. Cheers!
