Colette our Creative Director is the epitome of cool. She has such a great handle on style that she almost went to work in our Fashion Department, but her love for the graphic arts overruled & landed her the top creative post here. A valued export direct from Paris, Colette speaks fluent French and English, and she adds a sophisticated touch & a slightly minimalist European aesthetic to our creative output. (…Although sometimes we do disagree over whether my Hispanic color palette is better. 😎 )
As I've already mentioned, Colette and Kari have become good friends and when they get together on set, it's not easy to stop laughing. But on the occasions that Colette has modeled for us, she takes it incredibly seriously, and you almost get chills from her stage presence and the sheer intensity she emotes.

It's always fun working on the seasonal image galleries and developing concepts for MWN. However, those of us working in a creative field may occasionally become so enamored with an idea that's not quite a winner, and being directly involved in the process, either we're too close to it all or we're far too emotionally attached to the concept to notice. Sure, sometimes our creative instincts can be right on target and everything falls right into place, but occasionally, we blindly push ahead, unaware of how off the concept really is. Perhaps you've been there before.
That's why we have a Creative Consultant to help us stay the course whenever we start to drift off into the nether. Frank has worked in the industry for a number of years here in the U.S., so he… well, let's just say he has a lot of experience.. Sometimes Frank sits in on brainstorming sessions, or if we ever have a concept we're not 100 percent sure on, we call on the arbiter of clarity. At times, all it takes is that signature expression of his and we know we need to make a course correction! Everyone needs a Frank in their life, someone who tells the truth in a clear but respectful way.

I've been remiss in not introducing our hard-working Multimedia & Video Editor: Say hello to the lovely Liz! She's the one who spends hours in front of a computer screen splicing & dicing and piecing together our multimedia presentations and videos. Most days you can find her in a darkened room with her headphones on making sure all the audio is on cue and rendering all the effects & sequences. But this gorgeous gal always makes time to step out into the light with her resplendent smile when she has a free moment to mingle!
Before joining ModelsWearingNylons, Liz worked as a sports bar waitress. As fantastic as she looked in her uniform, she knew she wasn't going to spend the rest of her life there, so she applied herself and turned her editing hobby into a career. Liz just proves that you can turn your potential into reality. She really is both beautiful and talented!

Victorian Organza Dress
Over the summer, Nora modeled for us a few times, but it wasn't until the last day of the posing sessions that we found out this Nordic beauty also has experience designing websites! So after clearing her with Susan at HR, we hired her to assist with the updates & upkeep of our webpages. With her sophisticated Norwegian asthetic, Nora has already provided some fantastic insights concerning the site's design appearance, as well as some helpful structural details that had slipped past us. It always helps to get another perspective!
The multi-talented Nora is not only a tech-savvy creative, but she's also a good cook, and this stunning beauty also used to play soccer back in the day, so one of her soon to be introduced images features her in an appropriate sporty look. Her amazing curves and figure truly make her a perfect match for ModelsWearingNylons! Du er svært tiltrekkende! (…And that one line is basically the extent of my knowledge of Norwegian.)

People used to say Dawn was a dreamer, wasting time in her youth practicing dance and writing poetry. "What good could ever come from your art?", they would say to her. Yet after years of practice, Dawn became a pro cheerleader & traveled the world over with the dance squad, bringing light and joy to dreary places with the team's event performances. She has since retired her pom-poms, but she still teaches economically disadvantaged kids at local dance studios. "There's not enough beauty in the world", says Dawn, quoting the words of a famous designer. And I believe she could almost single-handedly bring much-needed beauty & light to this cold world with her words and her kindness.
The countless hours Dawn spent perfecting her writing craft has also landed her the position as the main writer (and resident poet) here at ModelsWearingNylons, and we are truly fortunate to have her. Although she can do anything she sets her heart & mind to, for now she graces us with her effortless writing skills and renowned beauty. Unsurpassed in kindness and grace, Dawn truly brings sunshine to all of us here at MWN!
LINDSEY
MWN SR. GRAPHIC DESIGNER

It's Lindsay, a former pro cheerleader turned lead Graphic Designer! (She doesn't like the word "Senior" that's part of her job title, so I just use the word "lead" instead. But only when I'm around her. 😆 ) Most of you know I have a graphic design degree as well, so it turns out that Lindsay and I often spend time working together on the corresponding graphics for ModelsWearingNylons, choosing the fonts, selecting color palettes, and tweaking the design. She graduated just a few years ago, but she's already light years beyond her age in terms of intuitiveness & skill. That just goes to show you what happens when you invest yourself in learning beyond what the school curriculum dictates, like Lindsay has.
Yes, Lindsay is an artsy-type gal (and she has near perfect legs to boot!), so she wears the most interesting outfits and some of the best color combinations. And get this: Instead of receiving a company mobile phone, Lexi requested a designer chair for her workstation instead. I am officially jealous. And awestruck by the two works of art in the frame.
